Since opening in 2017, the Sydney Acting Studio has become a place where actors find innovation, community, and excellence in the performing arts. From day one, our mission has been clear: to provide world-class training and create real pathways into the entertainment industry. Built by industry professionals, for actors, our studio is dedicated to developing talent ready for both stage and screen.

Our training philosophy blends the best of the American method with the rigour of the English drama school, offering a truly transformative approach to actor training.

We recognise that every actor’s journey is unique. That’s why we offer flexible study options, full-time or part-time, with minimal breaks beyond public holidays. Year-round learning means faster growth, deeper immersion, and more opportunities to refine your craft.

Training at Sydney Acting Studio covers Stage Acting, Screen Acting, and Voice, taught by professionals with extensive credits across Australia and the United States. Students also gain direct industry insight through exclusive masterclasses with casting directors, agents, and directors.

But we don’t stop at the craft. Success as an actor also means understanding the business. Our Business of Acting program helps members secure representation, prepare audition packages, and navigate a competitive industry with confidence. For advanced actors, the Redfern Theatre Company provides the chance to perform in professional stage productions under the guidance of acclaimed directors.
